LIFE IN SAGRES

Ingredients from the local market for my caesar salad… garlic, lettuce, lemons, olive oil, salt, pepper, anchovies.

We found the morning farmer’s market and got some great produce.

Donny figuring out the oven… he was outside listening to music so he has his headphones on when I said, “Can you come in and figure out the oven?” . !! We are trying to cook a frozen pizza to go with our salad. Everything is an adventure. Centigrade! Timers!! We got this.
Map of lower south west Portugal. This is our giant map. We are here. Ponta de Sagres.

We drove around a bit today after finding the farmer’s market. Saw some pretty sights and things we want to go back to. It’s rugged and wild here and for travelers. Saw many access points to the cliffs and the beaches. Gentle surf right now. Many camper vans from all over Europe and beyond. Saw a beautiful little girl with her young parents. This evening we sat on our balcony and watched the sun set and the birds put themselves to bed.
