So we are figuring things out in Loule (pronounced Loolay). We are in an older Hotel called the Hotel Jardim Loule in a very old town square but a six minute walk away is a super modern grocery store. The roads are tiny, and outdated, most of them are now one way. Lots of round-abouts. It’s a classic expample of old meets new. Our room is nice with super comfortable bed. That seems to be the selling point… are the beds comfortable? Read the reviews! And pet friendly. !
The hotel has an old lobby with tons of space. And they serve a huge and varied breakfast. Because we stay at least 5 nights we get such great deals. This is off-season and they welcome the business. Most of the other travelers seem to be french. Mostly middle-aged. Like us.
Tomorrow we are going to explore the beaches and coast. We have been told that Cacela-Velha is a super sweet town. We will check it out.
